Asterino and Associates, Inc is currently developing a curriculum (medical billing course) for individuals who are interested in learning the fundamentals of the medical billing industry from professionals who have spent their careers in the medical billing industry. The classes will be taught by faculty with many years of practical medical billing experience, as well as various guest speakers.

Students will learn the following using live medical billing data:

• Data entry and Charge entry skills.
• Payment posting & Cash Reconciliation skills
• Electronic and Paper Claim submission techniques.
• Customer service skills, including research and problem resolution.
• Accounts Receivable follow up skills.
